Life is Hell (kind of?)
29 October 2007
Warning : Quite a boring post ahead!!
I'm positively dying.
*sigh*
What a day!!!! Phew.
Went to school early in the morning at 7 a.m. I promised myself not to sleep at school, but of course, I broke the promise. I don't want to fall asleep because if I do, my eyes, when I woke up, will be like, "heavy-lidded", and I probably couldn't get it open again unless I splash my face with lots and lots of water, which means, spoiling my hair too because my hair will become wet and flat and in other words, ugly. Poo. But I did fell asleep (couldn't help it), and of course, I felt so sleepy so I slept on and on, until I finally told myself to wake up and do something else. Splashed my face with water, and of course, my hair was spoiled! Kind of, because when I slept, I kind of messed it up, and I lost my comb, so . . . *sigh* But whatever, who cares how I look like?? I'm at SCHOOL, for goodness' sake. Oops.
Anyway, finally dragged myself up to Chinese Orchestra practice at 11 a.m. (Hmmph. Came to school so early just for it), then dashed off downstairs at 12.30 p.m. Ohh!!! So many things to do, so damn little time. Got to ask my friend to help me cut my hair, or else I'd probably get demerit 4 marks. So, spent the whole half hour running around looking for Tict Chyn and failing, so, I simply asked Catherine to help me cut my hair. In the end, Hui Min and Jun Fang all helped to cut my hair. Thanks a lot, guys!!! Although, I still haven't "pass" yet, and the prefect's still gonna check my hair tomorrow. *scowls* But she's better today, at least she didn't demerit me today although my hair is still a bit over-long. (*siggggh*) Why would our school want us to have so short hair?? Maybe they want us to be tomboys. Come on. FIVE centimeters from your earlobe. I mean, what's the difference with TEN centimeters and FIVE centimeters? Even the dogs' and cats' hair are longer than ours. Our school, apparently, set a false alarm, or it's not a false alarm, just something, to say that we're allowed to have long hair, long, as in ten centimeters, which isn't really anything but still better than five centimeters, but, nothing happened, so maybe it's just a fake trick our stupid school played. Thanks a bunch for reminding us that our hair are sooo short, to "allow" us to have ten centimeters long hair.
Before I cut my hair, I ran to take my huge pile of borrowed text books from school, today's the return date, so I got to tie everything up. It was so damn heavy. =.= And later I found out that bringing all of it was a terrible waste of time, and strength, because, I forgot to bring the darn CDs that came with the books which are of no use to us at all, just as a decoration for my table from the start of the year until now. And I guess it's a good thing I haven't returned the books, because, the green paper that Chia Chia gave to my sister to give it to me is still in one of the books. Whew.
Realized that I haven't finish my History Exercise (actually, um, no, not that I haven't finish yet, its, didn't do a single thing), so I was in such a state!!! Our teacher could get pretty crazy sometimes, I guess. Yeeep. Buffalo, Queen of Craziness a.k.a Queen of Emotions. If she's in a good mood, you're lucky. If she's in a bad mood, you're dead. If she's in a good mood, you'd get high marks for your presentations or tests. If she's in a bad mood, you'd get everything wrong. Haven't photocopied the exercises I was supposed to photocopy, so were going to the book shop right after we "report ourselves to the prefects", but didn't want to risk it after that horrible "encounter" with our lovely afternoon-session-whatever-she-is last time during recess (I mean ten minutes after recess, which means cutting class) Went back to class in a sweaty state, and found out that today's Chinese Orchestra practice is until 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Oh thank you God. Not. How am I supposed to do my History if I'm expected at the practice??! I sometimes wish I have a clone. Sometimes.
At first when I found out that I didn't brought the CDs with me I didn't care, but then, later, I ran back to class and told the teacher, and in the end I just decided to throw everything back into my car (I mean my mum's), just in case that the in-charge-of-the-borrowed-books-teacher doesn't want to keep the whole big pile of books without the darn CDs. Ran from the fourth floor back to the first, then finally, back to the cool air-conditioned Chinese Orchestra room. No. Actually it's not only for CO. But whatever, that's not important. =P And finally, things got better, because they didn't practice anything at all, everyone just sat there and discussed animatedly (not me) about the CO farewell this December, while I was busy copying the History from Hui Jing, and thinking how I can manage to skip the farewell. I know it's bad, but, CO farewells are seriously boring, from the sound of it, compared with last year's music camp (the discussions this year sounds a whole lot better, but still, I'm in doubt) Hope I'm still in Singapore by that time, but, it doesn't really sound . . . appealing??! To stay in Singapore for around 14 days. Think about it, a fortnight!! I know it's not too long, but, I don't want to come back too late!! There's a lot of birthdays to celebrate!! Most of my friends' birthdays are at the end of the year (just like mine).
Oh! And found out that we got marching on . . . guess when?? 28 and 29 of November. My birthday!!!! But, I don't think I can go, because, I'm probably in Singapore by that time. *aww* I was thinking about celebrating with my friends, but, that won't happen (with my kind of parents who doesn't allow me to go out unless there's an ADULT), unless one of my parent is coming along, which would spoil the entire day, so, it's better to stay at home, really. Hope I can celebrate my birthday in Singapore, if I'm in Singapore!! (I don't know why, I have a feeling I'm gonna get fat when I'm in Singapore, not that I'm not fat enough) And the cruise thing, I'm already dreaming about it. Sounds fab. Superstar Virgo, or something like that.
Got our Moral, Maths and PE exam papers today.
Moral : 83% (Pleased. As long as it starts with a 7 or 8, I'm happy)
Maths : 79% (Happy enough!!)
PE : 68% (I think so. NO clue, because . . .)
HA!
That bitch finally showed her fat face in class today. Rejoice! We missed her so much. Yeah, we did. Right. After years (okay. exaggerated) of absence (no clue where she went, maybe a trip to heaven), she finally appeared in class today. And probably just for today. I guess we won't be having any more PE lessons (practical or theory) this year. Fuck. Pei En asked me, "Can we sue her??" Yes, yes, YESSS!!! She deserves it. The bitch. We haven't done the high jump, long jump, and for many other people, 400 meters and 100 meters. (yeah, you know) So, she simply took our old marks from the first term. How clever. Solving the problem like that when we were all stuck in class every time she's absent. *groans* Hate her!! I asked if I can slap her face or just poke a hole on her face (I wish), and Pei En said, it would be totally worth it!! So it would. I wish I could. And the only reason she came into class today was to give back our PE exam paper, or else she'd probably disappear into thin air again. After she collected back the papers, she just like, sat there and look at all of us. We know we're pretty (*aherm, ahermm*) but couldn't she just let us do something than just sit there and waste time?? She could at least take us to the stadium (since it's kind of raining outside) to play badminton or something. *scowls* Hrrrmph. And we wasted like 15 minutes of her class, because, our class monitor was running everywhere just to look for her, and to ask if we're going down to the field or not, and when she came back all puffing and sweaty, she announced that the teacher couldn't be found anywhere. Hiding, maybe. I'm surprised none of our classmates . . . um, said anything to her about her continuous absence. But I guess nobody dared to, since she IS a teacher after all (not in our opinions, no), all superior and great, and holding the . . . um, great . . . power to demerit and scold us and whatever. *grrr* When she came into the class today, I said to Yann Ying in Chinese (so she wouldn't understand), "So! She finally showed her face in our class!!" Damn. I hate her. Like Jit Nee said, all those . . . PEOPLE (I can't really say it out, it might be a little offensive) are LAZY. Yep. Quite true.
Brought pasta to school with me today!! Honestly, it tasted nicer than when I had it last night. Last night there's just something weird about it. Today it tasted yummy! Jit Nee brought cheese and scrambled egg sandwich. Nice!! Yum. Exchanged with her, because I totally loved her sandwich, and she liked my pasta! I love my pasta too, but, well, whatever, it makes a . . . um, change to eat different food. Yeeep. Actually Yann Ying brought a slice of cake today, and it smells . . . hmmm, nice, but, it looks horrible, because it's kind of all squashed and . . . deformed with all the shaking and stuff in her bag. Oh! And Yann Ying cut her hair. Aww. Not so cute anymore!! =( *sigh* The way she described her barber was so hilarious! She told the barber that she was from our school, and her barber said, oh, that school! Well, aren't you supposed to have those "mushroom" hair cuts, the all straight, like a bowl, and no layers hair style like the good-little-girl hairstyle, all prim and proper (YUCK! Is it prim and proper? I used to have that kind of hair . . . YUCK.), so, the barber cut Yann Ying's hair into a "that-kind-of-hairstyle", sort of, just a bit better but not as cute as her previous one when she cut with me. =(
Okay. And I was totally crazy today. Was at Chinese Orchestra practice when someone gave me 22 small sheets of pink paper, to leave comments for the graduating Form 5 seniors. Just what I wanted. NOT. Was hurrying like anything over my stupid History, and I was kind of rude to that someone. Oops. Sorry!! Foul mood, really. So sweaty, so hot, so sticky. Not nice. And I asked Wei to help me keep the sheets of pink paper first, so she did, in her song-scores-file. And she borrowed it to me because I wanted to photocopy the scores. So, all the sheets of paper went with me, and down to recess in the file (because I planned to go to the bookshop to photocopy it, but later decided against it because I have a lot of things to do). In the end I asked Hui Jing to photocopy the History stuff for me, and later when I was going to take it from her, all the 44 sheets of paper (including Wei's, white in color) fell out from the file and flew onto the floor. Shit. Well, at least nothing happened to them. Whew.
Later, after I "finished my business", I walked back to the class with Jun Fang and Jit Nee. I don't know why, I sort of threw my hands up (I was holding the file, and I must be happy), and guess what happened. My 22 small sheets of pink paper all flew out from the file and "PLOP"!! Fell into the drain. Fuck. Lucky the drain wasn't too wet but it still was a bit wet at the bottom, and, there were lots of those green velvety plant stuff (forgotten the name) in the drain. Lovely. Got to reach into the drain and pick up the papers. Thank goodness only a few of them are spoiled. Lost one. Actually no I didn't lost it, it was in a terrible state : wet, and full of those green stuff, so I just left it there on the floor. Oops. Sorry to Jun Fang for having to reach your hand into the drain with me!!! Sorrry. =( Eew.
Anyway, this laptop is killing me. Those electric-shock thingies, I don't understand why, are killing my hands. Ouch. Uh-oh. And going to school early tomorrow for the Graduation day rehearsal. *sigh* Early-birds, we are.
OUCH.
