B's Accident.
28 August 2007
Accident!!
Poor B.
After I bathed and had lunch and stuff, I went to Jane's house with my maid to wait for the teacher who sends me to school. And our dog (did I for one moment made you think that B was a human??), let's call him B here, since I'm not entirely sure of the spelling of his name, ran out to wait with us. He has went with us before before this. Like all dogs, he peed and sniffed at this and that, barked with some other dogs. Suddenly, he saw a person cycling opposite Jane's house, and he ran across the road to chase the person. Before this, sometimes there were people walking pass opposite Jane's house too, but B never ran across the road before. But today, he did. Before he even reached the other side, he was hit by a car. *shivers*
It was horrible. But B's not dead, thank God. Thank, thank, thank God. I saw the car hit him, and he's like rolling and rolling with the car wheels. It was....This was the first time I'd ever witnessed an accident. All I ever saw was the "afters". Those broke-down, dented cars. Sometimes even a human lying in the middle of the road, hurt. But this, although B's an animal, it's pretty much the same. A human being knocked over must be even worse than animals.
I saw B running across the road and I was like, B, B, come back!! But at that time the car came. I screamed so loud when the car hit him. I was so shocked. B howled and whined until the car finally stopped. It must be so painful. I was so shocked I didn't dare go look.
I was a ninny...kind of. (What?? A ninny is a ninny. No kind ofs.) I can't even go and look at our own dog, see how he is. See whether he's okay. I didn't dare walk forward. Our maid was there too, and at first she didn't go and look. But after a while we both walk towards the car, but not too near. Lots of neighbours also came out and look. Whether it's my scream or it's because of the howls of the dog, I have no idea. Should be the dog. And she came running down too. We all watched the uncle who hit B attempting to pull B out from under his car. But B refused to come out, even when my maid -who B must be very fond of, since she's the one who always feeds him- called him, he wouldn't come out.
And then the teacher came. And I don't know what happened next. But from what I've heard, my cousin came and tried to call B to come out from under the car, but he failed too. So in the end, I think he asked some of his fellow workers to help lift the car up, and then B was sent to the vet. By whom I don't know. Gosh. It was horrible. I reached school and tried to find my mum to tell her the news but she wasn't there. So I asked her teacher friends to pass her the news. Then I went to find my sister. *sigh* Felt so worried. And was scared that I was the one to blame because I never caught the dog and led him back to our house compounds.
Not a good day. Not really. After I came home, I asked my sister where B was, and she said at the vet. So he must be fine. Then I asked is he OK?? And she said she doesn't want to go into details, so it must be pretty bad. I don't think I want to know now. =( Hope he's fine. Hope he's ok. Even though I've never liked him too much, since he always bite our shoes, always jump up at us with his dirty paws, trying to bite stuff, dragging rubbish from everywhere, pulling out flowers...
I hope he will be fine.

My mum baked some Blueberry Mexico Buns today. Not bad. And she baked some Cinnamon Rolls too. It's not too nice because she put too few sugar, and because halfway through baking the bread, the electric was cut. So she cooked it with gas. Not the oven.

Three of the blueberry buns. =)
Look appealing or not??
Not really.
But tastes nice though.
