23 October 2008
A long, long weekend at home.
There's no school tomorrow because it's our seniors' graduation day. Or graduation ceremony. Since tomorrow is not their last day in school, and mostly graduation day means that it's your last day in school, right? I don't really know, I have yet to find out. Two more years and I'm out of this beastly school for good!
I can't wait. I so can't wait.
And it's Deepavali on Monday, so, an extra holiday!
Four days. FOUR days. What to do, what to do?
I must be crazy. Everyone loves weekends! So many things to do!
Not for me though. Like I said, I'm stuck here. There are limited things to do in this house. Online. Sleep. Eat. Watch movies. Play piano. Eat. Sleep. Online. Eat. Eat. Sleep.
Gosh, it's a boring life.
Even at school, things suck.
I don't understand why our crazy school is always willing to think the very worst of all of us.
Poker cards aren't allowed, because they said that it's gambling. The fun, harmless (supposedly) UNO cards also aren't allowed, because the school said there are numbers on the card and the students will use the UNO cards to gamble instead of the poker cards.
MY ARSE.
Maybe some students really did gamble with UNO cards and were caught, and that's why UNO cards are banned as well. I really hate those students who did something stupid and made the whole school suffer.
Any games that concern throwing the dice, the DICE!! are also not allowed. Must be something about gambling again, yadda yadda. Sigh.
So basically Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders, Risk and Roll, et cetera, will all be confiscated if we bring them to school. Fuck. Only Scrabble, chess, and those no-cards, no-dice games are allowed, and even so, we have to get a permission slip for them. WHAT THE - ??!?
So ... we're supposed to waste our time are we? PMR is over and we still got to live with this shit. I HATE THIS SCHOOL.
Many (and I mean MANY) students were caught today for bringing these games to school. WE saw a lot of people outside the discipline room and wondered what was wrong, and it turned out that it was because of the supposedly innocent cards and games. POOOOH.
Today, the only thing I was looking forward to was PE. At least it's a bit fun. But no. We haven't had this class for weeks, and today, we were forced to go wipe and clean the chairs for the graduation day tomorrow.
We also had to carry the stupid chairs to the hall. The hall was HORRENDOUSLY decorated with enormous pink/red, pink/fuchsia, pink/purple flags with the school's logo printed right in the middle. HIDEOUS.
Shit I almost forgot, I have a date tonight! We plan to meet in front of the school at midnight sharp, and we want to burn the stupid flags in the hall. Let the fire continue to burn. No tears will be shed if the school turns into ash and dust. I will only say good riddance. I really, really hate this school. Who doesn't?
The school was thoroughly cleaned this week. We had to sacrifice our double English period (which we almost always watch movies) to clean the disgustingly dirty and dusty staff room. Oh, so because the VIPs are coming, THEN you clean everything? THEN you beautify everything?
Don't they clean the staff room normally? It really was horribly filthy. Even the refrigerator, where teachers normally get their food and drinks from, was very dirty. Yuck.
Oh! The students in E3A are the luckiest bastards in the world. Yesterday our class were sent to a Malays' event at a Malay school where the only remotely enjoyable thing was the food, and today, E3A went to a sandcastle competition.
A SANDCASTLE COMPETITION.
The sand, the sea, the sun, thesex rocks, the breeze ....
A MALAY RAYA EVENT
The rain, the food, the performances, the speeches (*yawn*) ...
Tell me, which one would YOU choose?
We're lucky. So lucky. Bah.
But still, at least we got to get out of school. Actually there's not much difference too, to be frank. We talk, we eat there, we talk, we eat here. Just plus the speeches and the performances. And the chance to, uh, mingle with teenagers of different races.
Which was nice, I guess. I mean, not that I talked to anyone that much, but I did say a few things like :
"Excuse me, uh ... ah ... mana itu ... ah ... *mumbles* rubbish bin .... ah, itu ...."
"Tissue ah?" (I was holding used tissues in my hand)
"Bukan, itu .... uh .... ah .... oh! Tong sampah!"
"Oh ... situ!"
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
And I found that they are very polite! They say you're welcome. I never say that, I almost always say, no problem, with a slight wave of my hand and a grin.
I learned, you know!
Because when an Indian girl sitting in front of me dropped something onto the floor without noticing, I picked it up andpoked tapped her shoulder lightly.
Then I hesitated because I don't know if I should speak English or Malay. I think they understand both, but God knows why I chose Malay. I can barely speak Malay.
And when she thanked me, I said you're welcome. Whee, I'm so polite. =P
Okay, I WILL update about that event soon.
Now I'm going to ogle and stare at the gorgeous Tiffany poker cards which cost USD30, which isn't worth it unless you want to use it as a decorating ornament. Not suitable for playing games like Snap, I don't think.

Look at the colours!! *passes out*
But still ... it's so gorgeous! There's no Tiffany here in Penang anyway. Only in ... guess where? KL. Again. Why? Juicy Couture is there as well and I'm stuck here, miles and miles away. So sad.
And you know people always say : "A girl must own at least one Tiffany."
OK, fine, I don't think those people mean poker cards. But Tiffany (mostly) is soooo expensive! But very pretty. And the carriers and the boxes tied with white ribbons are to die for. The colour. My favourite! *faints*

The present is so cute!!!

Pretttty!
