SuperStar Virgo : Part 2

The Cruise : SuperStar Virgo

Part 2

Snapping photos at the Grand Piazza when there's still time. So many things to do, so little time!!

Thus the exploring of the ship continues.

I guess if you want to spot for the SuperStar Virgo from a distance, you have to watch out for this ... thing.

The outdoor cafe - The Taverna at Deck 13.

The Parthenon Pool at Deck 12. So pretty right?? There are four round jacuzzis around the pool. I didn't actually swam, or even touched the water of the pool. =(

The kiddies' pool - Neptune's Wet and Wild. Is it my imagination or is the kiddies pool more popular than the Parthenon Pool??

Chessboard!! Made specially for . . . bored people?? I mean, there are SO many things to do on the huge ship, why play chess??

Scared you or not??!

Hehehe.

Yep. The wind's that big. Crazy hair!!! =P

The Champagne Bar - Bellini.

You can shop at the Star Boutique!!

Photo specially taken for Jun Fang!! Snowman. =)

The Lido is like an opera house, just smaller. Most of the shows and performances are at The Lido!! It's very gorgeous inside!! I love it.

Mwahaha. It's my own private opera!! The Phantom of the Opera gave it to me, because I have an even stronger voice than Christine, and I was a bigger hit than her.

(Tell you a secret : Part of the reason I uploaded this photo is because my legs look long and thin!! Thinner than the usual anyway. =P I'm so honest, see?)

The SuperStar Virgo's own pianist.

Message specially for Ee Leng : I don't mind working here. Do you?? :P

We went for dinner at The Mediterranean Buffet/Terrace after a while. It's too early to be having dinner, I think, but there's a show at The Lido, so we had to eat early. It IS not worth it at all. You'll see why later.

We were planning to go to Bella Vista for a late dinner after the show, so we decided to eat something light at the buffet. But turns out that we stuffed ourselves with too much food, so we don't have much appetite at the Bella Vista later. What a waste. Actually, not. You'll see why later.

Pretty desserts. Now I know that looks aren't everything. It may look nice, yeah, but some of them tastes really GROSS. The desserts aren't too bad, I guess, but the other food, UGGH!! They all look really nice and appealing, but the taste is horrible. Okay, okay, maybe it's not THAT bad, but still, it could be better. My expectations are too high, I guess.

The place is really nice, with big windows looking out to the sea. It's pretty!! Most of the rooms on the cruise looks on to the sea. Pity our cabins doesn't. Poo!!

Taking pictures in the toilet. Okay, this is even worse than playing chess. We must be reaaally bored.

=)

Okay. So I said that eating early is not worth it.

Why??

Because the show we went to was fucking stupid and fucking childish.

It's a Mr.Bean show.

Mr.Bean and Friends, I think.

God. I don't know how we thought it could be FUNNY.

I mean, Mr.Bean's always funny right??

The show is NOT.

Maybe for kids, yeah, because just a glance at Mr.Bean and his mole will make the kids laugh.

It was so childish!! And the MC, oh my fucking goodness, was just plain . . . childish. Horrible. Not to mention slightly . . . gay??! Okay. Not slightly.

Watching Mr.Bean and his friends, the old lady and his ugly girlfriend or something, dance, dance and dance?? Not a single joke. I didn't find anything funny. WE didn't find anything funny, except for the MC's actions and moves.

I'm sure people think we're like normal people, laughing at, oh, Mr.Bean's cute and groovy dance moves. But we weren't. We were laughing at the MC. I would have taken a photo of him or recorded a video of him, but cameras aren't allowed in The Lido. Pooo!! I'm sure you all (if you're not kids or adults, oh, shoot!! TEENAGERS) will laugh your asses off.

He's like, shaking his ass, shaking his hips, dancing with Mr.Bean. I know it sounds fine, but when you see it . . . *shudders* He's even worse than Mr.Bean. No offense though, I know maybe he's just doing his job and trying to entertain the audience, especially the kids.

The whole show is a WASTE of time. It's about Mr.Bean and his girlfriend going on a cruise, and, OH MY GOD!!! LINDSAY LOHAN's gonna be there. Oops. No. Sorry. It's the old lady who's gonna be there. My bad. Then the MC, who was forbidden to go to the cruise with Mr.Bean, pretended to be someone who's working on the boat, and then he kept stealing Mr.Bean away from his girlfriend. I mean, seriously. He kept pulling Mr.Bean's hand and leaving the girl alone to follow them.

Ouch. I don't think I wanna replay THAT part of memory.

After the show, we went to the Bella Vista for a late dinner. This is how we get fat!! Two dinners a day?? Whoa.

The Bella Vista is a super-grand and gorgeous (just like everything else on the cruise) dining-place, with pillars, high ceilings, and at night, the lights are all light greens and yellows. At the end of the room, there are three huge windows, looking right out to the sea. We couldn't see anything though, because it was already night-time, and it was dark.

In the Bella Vista, we all felt particularly dizzy. I think the Bella Vista is at the end of the cruise ship, so, maybe it bobs a little more. But we all felt fine after a while, though, not much appetite for the food.

I guess it's sort of romantic there. But my sister's the last person I want to kiss. =P

Sorry for the bad quality photos, but I didn't want to turn on the flash. It'll be weird. Everyone's eating and enjoying their food, and FLASH!!! SNAP!! I will be damn annoyed if someone else did this.

First dish. Don't remember what it was. Weird salad. Sometimes it tastes bitter, sometimes it tastes sour . . . I guess it's not really my thing. Or maybe I'm too full from the first dinner.

Second dish. Don't remember what it was. Salmon and Shrimp Soup, I think. Weird soup. Sometimes it tastes good, sometimes it tastes horrible. It is NOT nice. I guess it's not really my thing. Or maybe I'm too full from the first dinner.

*burps*

Excuse me. =P

Main dish. This is nice!! But the steak is just a bit too hard to swallow. *gulps* I love the onion rings on top, I love the potato baked in it's skin, with some stuffing inside, I love the . . . what else is there??

Dessert. Tiramisu. Nice!! =) Tiramisu never fails.

Okay. For the main dish, my sister was the odd one out AGAIN. She's the only one who ordered the gross-est (is there such a word?) thing on the menu - Vegetable Pot Pie. And surprisingly, it's the only name I remember perfectly. Yuck. VEGETABLE Pot Pie?? Eew.

There's my sister and her weird pot pie.

After the . . . is there a thing called dipper?? The meal between dinner and supper. Like brunch. The meal between breakfast and lunch.

Okay, after the DIPPER (ha ha ha, it's not funny at all), we went to The Lido, again, to watch the acrobatic show. And it was way, WAY nicer than Mr.Bean and his stupid friends. Enjoyed it immensely!!

After that, there's still another show, but only for 18 years old and above. Hmm. Maybe it's a burlesque. Strippers. Strip-tease. Ha ha. I'm so curious to know. NOT. Even 3 years old can guess what's going on.

So we went back to our cabins after that to change into something warmer, because we wanted to stroll on the decks. It was fun!! And not to mention, super windy.

I LOVE . . . myself.

Pole dancers!!! Eherm. We look like pole dancers, minus the sexiness, minus the beauty, minus their bodies, minus their grace, minus their confidence, minus everything. =P

We were being crazy. I told my sister (left) that she looked like the golden retriever next door to my cousin's house.

THE END

Part 3 tomorrow.

Goodness. It's nearly 3.00 a.m. already.

Toodles!

:D
