Happy Birthday, Crystal !!
3 November 2007
Warning : Quite a boring post ahead!!!
Happy Birthday, Crystal!!
A traditional present (says me) for you :
*mwahh!!* A kiss on the cheek.
*smack!!* A kick on the ass.
=DD
*
Yesterday morning was the Fifth Form and Upper Sixth Form's Graduation Day. The crazy teachers somehow decided to "grace the Form 5s and Form 6s with our presence" by asking our class to be present for the ceremony. How dull is that? Poo. Had to sit through everything for around three hours, with no food to eat, no water to drink, had to watch and listen (or pretend to anyway) to the VIP people's speeches . . . Talk about boredom.
Meanwhile my clone is sitting in the front-est ever possible place in the hall, right below and beside the stage. She's performing for the Chinese Orchestra (*yawn*, she said to me later), which is almost as boring as sitting there and watching everything like I did. But at least she got a clear view of everything that was going on on the stage. But she said it wasn't as good as I think, because they have to wear the hideous shiny red top and a long black skirt, and it isn't comfortable at all. She said she must guard her "actions", for many people will be watching the CO perform, and people will see her (not that anyone's really watching my clone, she's one ugly girl, really) if she gets crazy. And she said : Even worse, the songs they played were all in the sleepy, old-fashioned, boring categories, (*yawn* again) while the school band played the coolest of the coolest songs ever :
The Pirates Of The Caribbean Soundtracks!!!
*SCREAMS* Ahhh!!! My favorite. I want!! :P It's so unfair! Sometimes I just wish I was in the school band. It's a pity they have practices like every day for half a day, and it's a pity they have to stand under the sun during practices. Well, that explains their tans!! I want!! Although someone like me probably couldn't last more than an hour under the sun. =P I guess it doesn't have to be a marching band, an orchestra will do. But unfortunately the word orchestra doesn't exist in our school. Aww.
Anyway, after the Graduation Ceremony, I met with my friends and we were STARVING to death, so we went to the cafe opposite the school and had lunch. Personally I hate it there, but what can we do?? There really isn't anywhere else that's better. There were lots of flies, lots of people smoking, there were even kittens (cute ones though) on the ROOF. Yuck. But I guess the food isn't too bad. =) We went there quite early and ordered what we wanted at the hawker stalls, then we sat down and waited for the food. And waited. And waited. Hui Jing ordered hers like, ten minutes later than we did, and yet her food came first. We were all . . . "ogling" her food like people who haven't had a meal for a days. *stomachs growling*

Hui Jing : "Food at last, yummy!!" *licks her lips*

Crystal : "Where are our food??! I'm so hungry!! Hui Jing, give me a bit of your food!!"

Crystal & Rui Mei : "Ahhh!! Food, at long last. Yum!!"
After we had our lunch, we left the cafe and went to Tict Chyn's house to change and gussy up (no we didn't) for Gurney. Everyone's outfit was like, sort-of girlish, except Rui Mei's because no one told her we were wearing sort-of girlish clothes, so she's kind of the odd one out. It was raining, and we had to take umbrellas to walk to our school, and to wait for Rui Mei's mum to send us to Gurney. It was so damn funny!! Rui Mei, Crystal and I shared an umbrella, and we kept trying to squeeze under the umbrella, but, oh well. At least the rain wasn't too heavy.
Met Jun Fang at the school corridor, and then we waited for Rui Mei's mum. And waited. And waited. Long ago Sue Yi called and said she was already at Gurney, and we were late for like, an hour or so. (I guess this is the latest I've ever been late, if you know what I mean) Oops. Don't blame me. =P Sorry, Sue Yi!!

*whistles* Tict Chyn's gorgeous, sexy over-the-shoulder look. =P

Damn!! I hate Tict Chyn's long thin legs. Sheesh. Ha ha!! =)

Look at my eye bags and dark eye rings. =[

Rui Mei is sooo CUTE!! =) My face is in halves though. Hearts Rui Mei!!
After what seems like years, Rui Mei's mum finally arrived, and we all squeezed into her car. Ouch!! Tight squeeze. We reached Gurney quite soon after that, and guess what?? Jit Nee was supposed to leave the umbrella Tict Chyn lent us in Rui Mei's car, but, she forgot. So she has to hold the umbrella the whole time while we're at Gurney. Aww. xP
We met Sue Yi in front of the Levi's shop, and finally, Rui Mei isn't the odd one out anymore. Because Sue Yi was wearing long pants and a Nike T-Shirt, and she looks like she's going to exercise or something. =] And I just can't get use to Tict Chyn wearing such girlish clothes, she's always that kind of girl who prefers guys' clothes, prefers cool things instead of sweet ones, and prefers black and white instead of pink and purple. Well, of course, I love black and white too, and I love pink and purple too. What does that make me?? I know girls doesn't necessarily have to like pink and purple those sort of girlish colors, and of course girls can like black and white too, but most girlish girls like pink, don't they??

All of us!! Except Jun Fang, goodness knows where she was. I hate my flats!! They couldn't match anything, really. They were a purple color with dark purple sequins. I miss my flip-flops!! =( Oh, why did it broke?? *sigh*

Crystal the Birthday Gal (It RHYMES!!), Rui Mei & I. =]

Guess what I saw?? Mega!! Oops. Nobody would understand this except possibly Ee Leng.

Trying on shirts. Notice that we all wore the same thing in different colors?? (Well, duh.) Was going to play Truth or Dare on Yann Ying as it's her birthday celebration (some sort of birthday celebration that was), and we were in Padini at first (since there are so many clothes there), so we dared her to wear a low cut jeans dress with spaghetti straps and a super-short pleat skirt below. But she refused. She chose Truth at first and I asked her to say out her you-know-who's name five times OUT LOUD. It was quite easy, really. But she couldn't do it. So we dared her to wear the dress. And she still refused. Un-sporting!! x) Well, but I guess that dress was kind of too slutty and adult-ish for crazy teenagers like us.
So we went to F.O.S. and try on the shirts you saw on the picture above. We simply just chose one, and dared Crystal to wear it, but she wouldn't do it alone, so we have to wear the clothes too. It's not very pretty, really, the shirt, but, it was the only ones in the same style but with lots of different colors (we didn't try to find the others), so we chose that. =D

The Birthday Girl (or the bride, or the fairy??) and I in the Hot Market which is one of the places I dislike too, kind of, because the stuff is just so cheap!! I mean, the quality. But the prices are super cheap too!! And it's a great place to play . . . umm, games and take photos although we aren't allowed to take photos there. But we did. =P *shh*
We met a lot of our friends at Gurney yesterday. =)

Gross, Tict Chyn!! :P Ha ha. The baby's so adorable!! I love her/his eyes. *swoon*
Went to the Popular and MPH book stores but I still couldn't find the book It Had To Be You. *scowls* When can I finally find it?? Searched for it at the New Arrivals section and still I couldn't find it. Sheesh. My friends went to MPH and bought a lot of Chinese books which I have no interest or what-so-ever in. I mean, really, when have I been interested in any Chinese book?? Except those Chinese Fairy Tales I used to read when I was like, 8 years old.
By the time my feet was hurting like hell. Thanks so much, flats. I know flats are supposed to be comfortable and really easy to walk in, but my flats was kind of on the small and tight side, so it hurts when I walk in it too long. Ouch.
Sue Yi and I, somehow, were drawn to those cute books stacked on a short table instead of racks. The books had a lot of pictures, and they ask questions like . . . "To Whom Do I Belong?", "What Do I Like To Eat?" sort of stuff. =P They would showed a picture of a carrot, then ask, "Who Likes To Eat This??", then on the next page there would be a square cardboard attached to the page with three choices on it, which can be flipped up, showing you the right answer. Yep. And we got all correct. xD Who likes to eat caterpillars?? The book asked. Sue Yi and I answered together almost at once : The Little Boy. Oh. Aren't we just so clever?? *high five*
But Sue Yi left not too long after that, so sad. We were going to get something to eat when her mom called and said it's time for her to go home. Oh well. =(
We left MPH soon after too, and then when we were halfway to the first floor, we suddenly remembered something. The umbrella!! Jit Nee left it behind in MPH. Whoops-a-daisy. It's still there when we went back, thank goodness. *whew* Since we're at the third floor, why not go to Maggie T and S&J?? So we did. Oh, the pinkishness of Maggie T!! I guess Maggie T is the prettiest shop in the whole mall. To me, anyway. There were crystal chandeliers, the walls were all done in pink shades. And it sells the most gorgeous things possible. =] But the things are really expensive. The clothes there are so nice, but, fucking expensive!! I mean, come on. Pretty, yeah. Pretty beyond words. Quality, um, nope. Not really. But I guess they're better than the clothes at Padini. Nice clothes but all the fabrics are so thin and . . . flimsy, they're almost transparent. =.= But, oh well. I guess that's the way it is. So, back to Maggie T. The necklaces and earrings they sell are very nice as well, and the shoes are cute!! The hair accessories (To me, anyway) might be just a little more on the childish side, but that's just what I think. Most of them are very nice, but not things I would be seen dead with, unless I'm playing Truth or Dare (*winks*) or something. And anyway, there's not much I can do to my hair, since my hair is so, so short. I'm still wondering how some people in school managed to have so long hair without getting caught when my hair, only like 2 centimeters longer, got caught again and again. Poo!! *sigh* Never mind. I'll figure out a way.
S&J is somehow the best place to get presents. Yep. To me, anyway. The most to-die-for thing (Yeah, yeah, you know, to me anyway) is the cute horoscope key chains or the mini soft toys in the glass bottles, with beautiful writing on the bottle, like, Happy Birthday, Friends Forever, that sort of thing. You can write it yourself if you want to, but, well, since the ones already written on it were so nice already, what's the point?? Their handwriting are really neat and pretty!! Pity most of them are in Chinese, and short the sentences are, I couldn't read more than 3 or 4 words. And I don't believe it!! It's only the start of November, and they're already selling Christmas stuff. Ornaments, mini decorated trees, fake snowflakes, cute furry snowmen . . .
We need food!! Again. I guess shopping makes one tired and hungry, or, maybe the tiny whiff of the waffles and cookies downstairs is just a little too hard to resist. We went down to Cold Storage, which isn't a place I'd normally go to, too. It's a supermarket, and I don't think teenagers go to supermarkets a lot unless they're hunting for food (Like my sister, and in this case, my friends and I) We bought sushi from the supermarket. I guess the sushi wasn't too bad, and it's really cheap, compared to the ones from Sushi King, but, duh, the ones from Sushi King are soooo much more nicer and fresher, so naturally the food are more expensive. Of course. The price and the quality always go together. Um. Correction : No. I guess the clothes are an exception.
Oh!! And we went to Extreme earlier too, when Sue Yi was still with us. The clothes there are to die for, too, but most of them are on the cool side, which maybe doesn't suit me. Maybe. The hoodies there are so nice!! (I'm on hunt for a gorgeous hoodie, and I guess I found them . . .) But, the clothes at Extreme can be seen on anyone. Say, at school, most people who were feeling cold wore the hoodies and jackets from Extreme. And in the shopping mall, lots of people also wears the hoodies from Extreme (I looked. Yep. I did!! Most of them wore it.) *sigh* The bags there are all super nice too, but I'm still worrying about having the same thing with practically everyone in school. (I know it doesn't matter!!) And I saw cool rubber flip-flops there too, and was thinking I might get one sometime, because, I guess flip-flops doesn't matter so much to me. Actually, it does, but, I just haven't seen the Extreme flip flops on anyone (yet), probably because the logos and stuff were covered by our feet. We saw VC in MPH earlier, and her flip-flops are SO nice!! I want!! =[
After the sushi, I was amazed to see that it was 6.30 p.m. already. *shrieks* Jit Nee and I were expected back at school at 7.00 p.m. to duty!! *gulp* So, once again, we were in a hurry. Last time the exact same thing happened. Oops. But at least there were no pink faces this time. And luckily Rui Mei's mum came at that moment, and Rui Mei asked if she could drop us at Tict Chyn's house. Whew. Saved!! Not that we weren't late but we weren't late for too long. If we walked, I'm sure we wouldn't be on time to duty at all. Whew!! But in the end, things turned out super-unexpectedly. We were late, we didn't get scolded, and there were like five minutes left of duty (I was late for like, ten minutes and the whole duty is for half an hour only, so I only stood there for fifteen minutes) when the committee came and told me it's too dark and there weren't a lot of cars anyway so I can go home already. Yay!! =DD But what a waste. Poo!! All the rush for nothing.
Went to the foyer and . . . um, admired the art work people made. Some of it were so nice!! Like mine??! Ha ha. Talk about thick-faced. :P

Who does this belong to?? Sue Yi!! Yay. I got it correct. Who likes to eat this?? Me. =P In one of my older posts I did mention about this green thing but didn't have the chance to take a photo of it. The little ball which you can play with (The green thing is a maze, apparently) has disappeared, somehow. You can roll the ball along the maze. It's quite fun, really, but the ball has evaporated into thin air. What a pity.

Guess whose?? Yeeep. Mine!! =] Mirror mirror on thewall. Um. On the table.

Look at the clothes!! Some of the Form 3 people made it. Nice right?? I especially love the white bridal gown. It's quite pretty, really, but the fabric's kind of yellowish when you look at it closely. And when you look at it closely, you can see some sequins sewn on the dress. =] The blue one is quite nice too!! Jun Fang loves her boots. I guess it's not bad, but it's just not my kind of boots, maybe, because the boots looked kind of deformed as they were made of cloth. xP Okay, okay!! I know Jun Fang likes the thing in real life, not the made ones. I like lace-up boots. Sexy!! But of course, it doesn't suit teenagers like us. *sigh* Sometimes I just wish I grow up faster.

I look so horrible. Sweaty, hot and tired. *yawn* I look like I'm about to fall asleep any moment. And I'm wearing the uniform. NOT nice.

A birthday kiss for Crystal!! =) *muackz* Love her!! Um. No. I take back what I said. Some people might just be a little angry at me for saying that.
*
Happy Birthday again, Yann Ying!!
Sorry for the sort-of lousy birthday celebration (if you call that a celebration)!!
:]
How does it feel like to be finally fourteen??
*
